  • What is an International Health Insurance?

    An International Health Insurance is a medical plan which covers yourself, your family or your company for medical expenses worldwide. International Health Insurance are available with different levels of cover: Hospitalisation (also called Inpatient), Outpatient, Dental and Maternity. Typically these plans cover you when you travel abroad so you do not need to purchase an additional travel insurance. International healthcare plans can be renewed annually whether or not you have been sick during the plan.

  • How can I get an International Health Insurance?

    International health insurance plans are available to most areas worldwide and to all ages. We have International Health Insurance plans for all profiles (Individual, Family or Corporate). If you are a Teacher we have some special plans which will fit your needs. Please do not hesitate to ask us for an International Health Insurance quote.

  • What is a deductible?

    A deductible (commonly called "Excess") is the amount of money you have to pay before the Health Insurance provider covers you. For example, if your deductible is $50 and you visit a doctor which cost you $70, the insurance company will refund you $20. The higher the excess the less expensive the International Health Insurance.
    Some deductibles are per medical condition while others are per year; Yearly deductibles are usually higher then per condition deductibles.

  • Should I choose an excess for my International Health Insurance plan?

    Having an excess in you International Health Insurance plan will in most cases help you saving money by cutting down your Health Insurance premiums. However, it depends on the level of the excess and your country of residence. Please contact us for more information on International Health Insurance excess/deductibles.

  • Do you offer Corporate Health Insurance plans?

    We offer corporate group Health insurance to organizations. A corporate Health Insurance plan will cover employees; In order to enroll on a Group Insurance plan you need at least 3 employees. One of the major benefit of Group Health Insurance plans is to offer better flexibility. We can customize your plan to offer the cover you need and in some case you can have different levels of cover depending on your needs.   • Will my International Health Insurance plan last permanently?

    International Health Insurance plans are typically 1 year plans and are renewable. This is important since  you can renew your plan from year to year. Your medical condition will not affect your renewability. An International Health Insurance plan will thus offer you peace of mind.

  • Is there the difference between a travel insurance plan and an International Health Insurance plan?

    Typically,  Travel insurance plans are suitable when you travel for a short period of time as renewability is not guaranteed. If you travel for a short period of time travel insurance are therefore suitable. Travel insurance offer either single trips cover or multi trips but they will not cover you in your country of residence. If you travel for more than 6 month we recommend an International Health Insurance plan which offers long term cover.

  • Is there a difference between Inpatient and Outpatient?

    An Inpatient Health Insurance plan covers the cost Hospitalization (usually you have to spend at least one night at the hospital). In-patient typically cover the cost of the room as well as the medical expenses while being hospitalized. Inpatient plans usually cover surgery,  accident , dental emergency, and daycare treatment.

    Outpatient offers cover for Doctor visits, Specialist and prescribed medicines. An International Health Insurance plans gives you the choice of the healthcare facility as well as doctors for visits.

  • What is the age limit to join an International Health Insurance plan?

    Some Health Insurance providers have no age limitation either for enrollment or renewability. As an Insurance advisor we can select a range of plan suited to your needs.

  • What is the geographical area of cover for an International Health Insurance?

    Typically, International Health Insurance plans offer 2 geographical areas of cover:
    -Worldwide excluding USA/ North America
    -Worldwide including USA/North America.

    Please be aware that, some International Healthcare plans excluding North America can offer limited cover in North America. This limited cover in North America is typically for unscheduled treatment (accidents).

  • Will I be covered for Pregnancy?

    Most International Health Insurance plans offer optional Pregnancy cover. There are waiting period for pregnancy (from 8 to 12 months).
    We offer International Health Insurance plans with coverage for either Pregnancy delivery pre-Pregnancy test.

  • Do you offer cover for Caesarian?

    International Health Insurance cover for Caesarian depends on the insurance company and the reason why the C-section is required (Emergency C-section or elective c-section).  Please contact us for specific information on c-section.

  • Do you offer cover for Dental?

    The vast majority of Health Insurance providers offer coverage for Dental. There are typically 2 level of Dental cover: Routine Dental cover and major Dental cover.

  • What is a chronic medical condition?

    A chronic medical condition is a condition which can be treated but not cured. Asthma is an example of chronic condition. Because a chronic condition cannot be cured, patients will have chronic condition for the rest of their life.

  • Will I be covered for chronic medical conditions?

    Some International Health Insurers may cover you and your family for Chronic condition.
    However, it is a per case decision. Please contact us to find out more about chronic medical condition coverage.

  • How do we get paid ?

    We are paid directly by the insurance companies. You do not pay more having us as your insurance advisor. Our prices come directly from the insurers.
